how credible is the ICICI lombard critical care policy? ?
Q. Because they claim that all communications will happen only over phone.
Asked by someone - Mon Sep 1 05:45:37 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. That cannot be possible. you need the hard copy of all the cummunications if a dispute arises. So get everything in black and white. further in the case of insurance the beneficiary may be some one else other than the policy holder if something unfortunate happense to him/her so also it is better to be in documents. so insist for that or change the company.

A. Having 2 health policies from two different insurers will make things a bit complicated at the time of claim. You are correct, You have to claim from both the insurers on a proportionate basis, even if the claim amount is meagre say, Rs 10,000. And the solution for this is...In addition to the Health Insurance Policy for Rs 3 lac, You can opt for top-up health policies, where in You can claim amount in the top-up policy only if the claim amount exceeds Rs 3 lac.
